MarketingUC strongly believes that enterprises should take responsibility for ensuring that technology helps bridge the gap for people with disabilities. By providing increased access to technologies that meet the needs of such individuals, enterprises can lay the foundation for inclusive work cultures that enable these employees to thrive.
To support our belief, we have made it our mission to ensure that MarketingUC.com is accessible to people of all abilities. To achieve this, we follow the World Wide Web Consortium’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 as our guide across the site. We aim to meet Level AA standards and WCAG’s recommended level of conformance for entire sites, thereby providing a seamless experience for all users.
We consider the WCAG 2.1 Level AA guidelines as we build our platform and pages. With this guidance in mind, we:
- Design site templates emphasising colour contrast, logical heading order, and configurable repeated elements.
- Code the templates to ensure that pages are usable by various input and output devices, such as keyboard navigation and screen readers.
- Ensure that all non-textual elements have a text equivalent (such as “alt text” for images or transcripts for videos).
We use various methods to regularly measure the accessibility of our website, such as browser plug-ins, external vendor assessments, and individual page testing conducted by our own Global IT Accessibility practice. This ongoing approach helps ensure that accessibility is maintained as guidelines change and technology evolves. We believe that our overall site and platform meet Level AA conformance while also acknowledging that some pages may have occasional accessibility errors. If you happen to come across any errors or have suggestions on how we can further improve the accessibility of our site, please don’t hesitate to contact us at Info@MarketingUC.com.
MarketingUC is committed to making its website more accessible to everyone, including persons with disabilities. They are also working on integrating accessibility into their everyday technology and content design. To achieve this, they have developed a Global IT Accessibility practice that aims to create an inclusive work experience for all employees. This includes removing barriers in the workplace that hinder persons with disabilities from succeeding, whether their disability is visible or hidden. By doing so, MarketingUC hopes to foster a culture of equality where all employees feel valued and can contribute to the company’s success.
At MarketingUC, we work to empower persons with disabilities every day.
